Terms of Service
These terms govern all projects and referrals with Ivan the Dev.

1. Overview
Ivan the Dev provides remote full-stack development, web-to-app conversion, and related digital services. All engagements are subject to these Terms, and these Terms hold everywhere Ivan the Dev provides a service, even if other statements or agreements are signed. For the avoidance of doubt, 'individual' refers solely to a natural human person, and 'entity' refers strictly to a legally recognized corporation, partnership, or association.
2. Services & Scope
Scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing are agreed in writing before work begins. Changes outside scope may require a revised quote.
3. Right to Refuse Service
Ivan the Dev reserves the absolute right to refuse service to any individual, organization, or entity at its sole discretion. Services are provided exclusively to human beings and their lawful organizations; services are not extended to animals or individuals acting outside the capacity of a natural person.
4. Payments
Payments are due per milestones. Late payments may pause delivery. Prices exclude third-party costs unless stated.
5. Deposits and Refunds
Once a deposit has been paid, the payer has one (1) hour from the time of payment to request a refund. Any refund request made after one (1) hour is invalid and will not be honored, as work will have already commenced. For any valid refund request made within the one-hour window, the refund will be issued minus a 30% service fee. Any third-party purchases made on the client's behalf — such as domain registration and hosting — will be deducted before the 30% fee is calculated. Example: If the deposit is $1,000 and $95 has been spent on the client's behalf ($15 for domain + $80 for hosting), the net is $905 ($1,000 − $95). The 30% fee is $271.50 ($905 × 30%), leaving a refund of $633.50 ($905 − $271.50).
6. Consultations
Every client is entitled to two consultation sessions before building starts. Additional sessions before building incur consultation fees. After the initial deposit is paid and building has started, the client is entitled to three consultation sessions at every milestone. Failure to pay for a milestone pauses consultation access.
7. Affiliates — 10% Commission
Anyone who refers a paying client is eligible for 10% of the net project value after deducting domain, server infra, and recurring subscriptions. Formula: Commission = 10% × (Total − Domain − Server − Subs). Example: $2,000 − $220 = $1,780 → $178 commission. Payable after client payment clears.
8. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, client owns final deliverables. Ivan retains right to showcase work in portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
9. Limitation of Liability
Services as-is. Not liable for indirect damages or third-party costs beyond control.
